This Astro Boy watch was designed by Japanese pixel artist, ten_do_ten, as one from a set of two Tezuka Osamu by Gasbook Smart Style wristwatches. The other watch in the set was a Hyoutan-tsugi wristwatch designed by AMGDO. Gasbook is a group of artists who have banded together to create various pieces of Tezuka merchandise in their own artistic styles.

This watch features a pixelated Astro Boy design, with a single Astro Boy on the watch face, and a mozaic of Astro Boys covering the watch band. The hour and minute hands, as well as the dots marking the hours on the watch face, are all coated in Super-LumiNova paint, enabling them to glow in the dark. The watch's casing is made of plastic, with glass coving the watch face, and a stainless steel plate on the back. The watch's band is made of urethane.

This watch was made as a limited edition of 300, of which this is number 170.
